Midland Park is a compact Bergen County borough with railroad roots, established neighborhoods, a substantial local-business base and an active recreation system. Midland Park was incorporated on September 6, 1894 from portions of Ridgewood Township and Franklin Township, now Wyckoff.
The borough later expanded through the addition of land from Wyckoff in 1931.
